Southern renaissance man and Kentucky Colonel J.D. Wilkes is an author, visual artist, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist (notably on harmonica and banjo). He is best known as the front man of the Legendary Shack Shakers, and has collaborated with the Black Keys, John Carter Cash, Shemekia Copeland, Merle Haggard, Wanda Jackson, Shooter Jennings, Robert Plant, Sturgill Simpson, Todd Snider, and Hank Williams III.
J.D.'s first ever solo show in Ireland promises to be no less compelling than his many memorable visits with the Legendary Shack Shakers.
