ABOUT THE VENUE

and since then, has garnered a reputation as one of Dublin's best music venues. Maybe it's the fact our sound is
unmatched for a venue this size. Maybe it's our dedicated tech team who can make your gig go off without a hitch
(after all, they have been nominated IMRO Tech Team of the Year against the big boys such as Vicar Street and
Electric Picnic) Or maybe it's the fact that we can always be counted on to bring our patrons the best music and
buzz this side of the Liffey.

The Grand Social first opened its doors
in the autumn of 2010...
Like the Ha'Penny Bridge that we look out on, The Grand Social has become somewhat of a Dublin landmark both as a place for after work drinks and for cracking gigs.
But don't take our word for it, come in and see
why we have become iconic in the Dublin music scene.
Oh did we mention we've been nominated for
IMRO Music Venue of the year each and every year we've been open and beat out the competition to become Dublin Music Venue of the Year 2012...

Other spaces within The Grand Social include a fab rooftop Beer Garden (with retractable roof!)
which has its own bespoke cocktail bar and often hosts DJ sets , markets and shows all the major sporting
events on its large TVs.
The ground floor Ballroom is a perfect pre-gig drinking place and also hosts Drink and Draw events and becomes the perfect party room at the weekends as our regular party anthem DJs hit the decks for a night of fun-filled dancing.
