About The Event
Traditional Arts Collective is a group of musicians and dancers on a mission to bring the céilí back to the people.
At T.A.C gigs an MC teaches the audience easy Irish céilí dances and by the end of the night the whole room is up dancing. T.A.C have supplemented the traditional céilí line up with full drum kit and bass guitar which makes for a rocking sound! Apart from taking part in the dancing those people attending a T.A.C gig will witness live sean-nós dancing displays and stunning performances of traditional Irish songs. You don't need any dancing experience so come along, let your hair down and dance the night away!
Since forming in 2012, T.A.C have featured in a Guinness ad, a Hallmark film called 'Chasing Leprechauns' and they've also performed at festivals and gigs all over Ireland and beyond including Body and Soul Festival, Spirit of Folk Festival, Fhizzfest, Jack of Diamonds Rhythm and Roots Festival and Festival Suklegos, Lithuania to name a few. Members of T.A.C have performed with some of the biggest names in Traditional Irish Music.
