About The Event
THUMPER are the future rock and roll stars of tomorrow. Four guitarists stage front and 2 drummers, they create “a sonic thrust impossible to ignore”- Tony Clayton Lea, The Irish Times
They are the band we’re all obsessing over with a reputation for raucous and frenzied live shows, the rock-pop sextet are “most viscerally thrilling both on stage and on vinyl" - Hot Press Magazine. Championed by Louise McSharry, Ed Smith, Kate Brennan Harding, and Dan Hegarty in Ireland and with mainstream support across UK radio from Steve Lamaq at BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing Across the Line, Kerrang! Radio and Amazing Radio, it’s no wonder THUMPER are constantly topping the “Ones To Watch” lists and selling out shows constantly.
Following 3 Spotify NMF hit singles and a sold out headline show in Dublin’s Lost Lane, they have signed with a major UK agent ahead of 7 back to back shows this autumn in some of the most infamous music venues across the UK, including London’s most notorious music venue, The Old Blue Last which continues to hosted an array of superacts including Foals, Arctic Monkeys, and Florence & The Machine.
Earlier this summer they released a 5-track vinyl with an exclusive signing at Tower Records and a completely sold headline show at Dublin’s Lost Lane live music venue. ‘Out of Body Auto-Message’ is the first studio record by THUMPER, produced by Dan Fox (Girl Band).
2019 has been insane for THUMPER, with prime slots across massive festivals all summer long including Barcelona’s Primavera, Body & Soul, Kaleidoscope, Féile, these bubble-gum psych rockers are set for a Saturday night headline slot at the Body & Soul stage at Electric Picnic! Having secured a spot at this year’s Ireland Music Week and with international showcases pinned for 2020, the stars are the limit for these rock and roll future icons.
