--------------------------

The Prince Of Liffey Street encompasses a variety of musical projects from Fin Divilly. After nearly a decade residing on Liffey Street in the heart of Dublin City, Divilly celebrates the creative ups, downs, and everything in between in the venue he knows as his next-door neighbour; The Grand Social. The eclectic artist/producer will appear under the respective ‘Shakalak’, ‘The Flamboyant Mirrormen’, and ‘Fin Divilly’ projects that have accumulated over the years; alongside a “something for everyone” ethos.

Following the release of his aptly named 2017 debut album, ‘Liffey Street’, Fin Divilly’s “raw lyrics” and aweing performances quickly garnered attention for perfectly encapsulating his “colourful character and soulful voice”. The singer/songwriter spent a significant part of 2020 releasing a single every week, for 12 weeks. Divilly headlines the night with his emotional and soothing live performance.

Shakalak

The brainchild of Divilly and renowned poet John Cummins, Irish hip-hop outfit Shakalak was the natural and logical evolution of friends to bandmates. Having quickly gained an audience and praise, the now four-piece open the night with an exciting and fresh fusion of the literary and musical arts in the form of smooth hooks and sharp verses. Shakalak are currently working on post-production of their debut album.

Fin joins Galway-based French native Gregory Poirier in an imaginary world of well-dressed old TVs and Zebras. A classical guitar blends with vocals, synths, and beats to make a ‘fantastical bygone feast.’
