One Day International emerged, seemingly fully formed in 2007, delivered a beautifully crafted debut album Blackbird, toured with Elbow, Lykke Li, Crowded House, Villagers and Lisa Hannigan and then just as suddenly, disappeared.
Ten years later they’ve re-emerged, firstly for a sold out reunion show in Dublin and then to offer the gorgeous Heavy Lifting, a song inspired by Ireland’s community response to the war in Ukraine.
