Opposing forms of mysticism invite the echo maker onto a deserted stretch of road. Flanked
by duel devotions he starts towards an abattoir and whispers aspirations to his shoes. The
artist, the blues machine, the transcendental certainty - arched backwards into something
new – satin slate reformed. Here to bruise untruthful consolation, fabricated dawns and
Was he just a dream? A childlike ordinary ‘how’ – an incarnation – a pregnant yearning? Or
was he the hawk who spied it all? Was he the policy – the method? The temperature for time
travel switches abattoirs into legendary lands.
