“From the opening bars on Train Room’s debut album out on - you know you’re on-to something a little bit special” - Daily Mirror UK

Train Room will be releasing their debut album on August 20th on Station RD Records. To celebrate this they have announced an album launch at one of Dublin’s most iconic live music venues - The Grand Social.

Train Room is the brainchild of prolific songwriter, musician and producer Joe Monaghan. Train Room's music is a distinctive sound that mixes unique lyrical content with strong melodies and the classic Rock/Folk band instrumentation to back up the songs with gusto and brilliance. Their debut EP “Delicate Bones”, announced the band's sound to the world and the new release shows the growth and maturity of songwriting and production that only time and delicate paitence can create. The whole album produced by Joe has a driving downbeat, strong bass lines mixed with acoustic and electrified instruments.

Train Room have had a good run of radio play and are so very thankful for the support on RTE Radio One, Red FM, 2xm, 8 Radio, KCLR, Galwaybay FM, Midwest Radio, NOVA FM, WPPM 106.5FM(Usa), WLRM.

Previous Single - Hurricane of Love

Playlisted on RTE ONE RADIO

“Monaghan has crafted one mesmerising addictive gem” - INDIE BUDDIE Song of the Week (Grace) - The Irish Times

"The singer-songwriter genre is something that is awash with musicians that all sound like monotonous clones of each other. Train Room really excel when trying to avoid the generalisation by adding in other instruments and creating more complete sound" - Golden Plec
